The Covid-19 Diaries is a documentation of my life during the pandemic as both an essential and non-essential worker. Ironically, I started working in health care again a few months before the chaos started. This series started in March of 2020 and will continue throughout the length of the pandemic.
With current US politics attempting to reverse women’s rights, I choose to take part in the 4th Wave of Feminism, and create art to keep these rights moving forward. My work is functional and domestic, attempting to keep these conversations at the everyday level, as I believe change starts on a small scale. I strive to place humor into these objects, as to lighten the heavy topics. Clay is my material of choice because it is permanent.
